Hello, Coastal Cowboys families.

On behalf of our Board of Directors and the entire Coastal Cowboys organization, we want to thank each and every one of you for allowing your youth athlete to be a Coastal Cowboy this season. We also want to thank you for the countless volunteer hours you contributed, the monetary contributions and sponsorships you donated, your enthusiastic participation in this season’s Coastal Cowboys fundraising efforts, your cheering & cowbell shaking & train horn blowing from the stands, and your constant support of our athletes and coaches throughout the season.

As you know, Coastal Cowboys is a non-profit corporation, so we are 100% reliant on volunteers to lead our organization and run our programs. We have been fortunate to have wonderful, committed volunteer members serving on our Board of Directors and our coaching staffs. In that vein, we want to invite you to participate in that process by nominating candidates for our 2024 Board of Directors election and voting in our Annual Meeting. Only eligible members in good standing may vote in the Annual Meeting, so please make sure to get those helmets turned in on time, and if you have a balance on your account, please promptly make payment.

The timeline for this year’s election process is set forth below, and the Call for Nominations Notice, Board of Directors Nomination Form, and a list of the current members of the 2023 Board of Directors are attached. 2024 Board of Directors Nomination and Election Timeline:

11/07 – Nominations open
11/17 – Nominations close
11/20 – Electronic Voting opens (instructions for electronic voting will be distributed via TeamApp message along with a candidate info & qualifications summary)
11/30 – Electronic Voting closes
12/04 -12/11 – Newly elected Board members are notified and must confirm acceptance by 12/11
12/12 – 12/22 – Officer elections by new Board to take place by 12/22
Late December – 2024 Board of Directors & Officers announced to membership via TeamApp and Facebook
